A Word From Our Founder
Elevation Music started fifteen years ago as a passion project of mine. It enabled me to share my love for music with students, while at the same time solidifying my craft in the art of teaching.
In my time here, I have seen thousands of students from all walks of life. I've taught the wide-eyed five-year-old boy whose guitar was as big as he was, the fearless teenager whose talent thrust him into the spotlight, and the retired baby boomer whose lifelong dream was to learn to strum a few songs for only himself.
While a lot has changed since the beginning, one thing hasn't: the narrative.
Each student walks in with a story of why they want to pursue music lessons, and each of them has a dream in their heart. With each passing day, I get to witness them realizing these dreams and achieving their goals.
Ultimately, this is the why, in the question, Why do I teach? It is to help others.
To aide them through challenges.
To celebrate along side them in their triumphs.
